Het was de bedoeling dat het een volledig solo-album zou worden, maar toen kwam ik een paar vrienden van de Czech Philharmonic tegen en riep ik twee andere vrienden om drums te spelen en een beetje gitaar toe te voegen aan een paar nummers en het ging toen een eigen leven leiden. ”

Known for his eclectic songwriting and stunning live performances, he has spent the past 20 years touring internationally (UK, Europe, USA & Asia). Harries has seen mainstream radio success across Europe, has amassed millions of Spotify streams and achieved widespread critical acclaim.
He is about to release his 10th solo album, a lush alternative folk-pop record brimming with emotion and majestic songs.
“This is my post-covid therapy album” jokes Harries “I escaped to a friend’s remote house in the mountains to record a long list of songs that I’d written over an 18 month period when I wasn’t able to tour. It’s possibly my most intimate and raw record to date. I intended it to be a completely solo record but then I ran into some friends from the Czech Philharmonic and called in 2 other friends to play drums and add a little guitar on a couple of songs and it then took on a life of its own.”
